Operation Kindness Hosts 18th Annual Dog Day Afternoon

Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas, will host its 18th Annual Dog Day Afternoon event presented by Pet Supplies “Plus” on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 10am - 2pm at Flag Pole Hill Park at White Rock Lake.

This popular annual festival is Operation Kindness’ most heavily attended event – more than 2,000 attendees from all over the Metroplex bring their dogs for an afternoon of fun while benefiting homeless and unwanted animals.

There will be vendors with loads of giveaways, live music, K9 Contests, free microchipping for the first 40 dogs, free face painting for kids, and more. Don't forget to sign up for our FREE Chair-dog Competition to find the furry face of Dog Day Afternoon in 2013! Check out this year's chair dog Kitti Price.
