Chef Eddy T is back with Sai Fine Asian Bistro in Colleyville

Chef Eddy Thretipthuangsin (otherwise known as Chef Eddy T) opened a new concept in Colleyville this season. You may recall his name from a former dining favorites of mine, Bite and Kin Kin Urban Thai. Chef Eddy's newest eatery, Sai Fine Asian Bistro, is located at 5005 Colleyville Blvd. and showcases a fine-dining menu that's split into two categories. (Scroll below to learn more.)

The menu is creative, delectable and is a must-try for fine Asian food in DFW.

For starters, try the Truffle Edamame or the chef's signature Braised Pork Belly. If you like seafood and cheese, you can't go wrong with the Lobster Wonton.

The"Only at Sai" section of the features upscale entrees, including from the chef's past concepts like the Salmon Miso Truffle (the miso truffle sauce is amazing). You'll see a variety (and a lot!) of protein on these plates. One of the really creative dishes is the NY Strip Steak Malaysian Curry, a blend of multiple flavors that mix perfectly together.

You then have "From the Street," which includes Asian street food such as Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice, Peking Duck Fried Rice and some more rice and noodle options.

The street food ranges from $12-18, while the rest of the entrees can be anywhere from $16 to $32. Click here to see the entire menu.

Don't forget to try out some dessert at Sai! Pictured above is the Warm Apple Bread Pudding with sliced apples, vanilla ice cream, brioche, golden raisins and cinnamon. I'd also recommend the Green Tea Cheesecake. It's an amazing and creamy pairing that will make for a wonderful finish to your meal.

Sai is open just for dinner for the time being, beginning daily at 5 p.m. It's currently BYOB until the final bar menu is complete. Visit Sai on Facebook for updates and more culinary creations from Chef Eddy T!
