DFW International Community Alliance presents the annual Dallas International Festival Saturday, May 25, 2013 – 10 am – 8 pm in the Centennial Building at Fair Park. Dallas International Festival is an International Bazaar with more than 100 booths a Global Cuisines Pavilion, a Parade of Nations, a Passport to Adventure game, the Unity Garden, the Childrens Discovery Center, demos by Master Chefs, and a Global Drum Circle.

Sitting directly north of Downtown Dallas, Uptown is one of the city’s most energetic and thriving neighborhoods. Thanks to a decade of development, the community is now one of the most sought after locations in town to live thanks to its modern residences, extensive shopping and retail options, and its booming dining and nightlife scene.

The 3rd Annual North Texas Beer and Wine Festival returns to the Irving Convention Center in Las Colinas on Saturday May 11, 2013.
It starts at 2 pm and goes until 7 pm, and VIP events will follow until 10 pm. At the North Texas Beer and Wine Festival guests can choose from 100’s of craft, specialty and imported beers and wines to sample, attend home brewing classes, key note speakers, culinary demonstrations or relax to some great live music the beer garden.

Texas Scottish Festival & Highland Games’ 27th anniversary and event is scheduled for May 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2013, and will feature top Scottish musicians, professional athletes, and champion highland dancers, and an exciting array of food, merchandise, souvenirs, and beverages from Scotland and Great Britain to be held in the Mavericks Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This year’s festival has an expected attendance in excess of 40,000 for the three day event.

The 38th annual Germanfest takes place Friday April 26 through Sunday April 28 in Muenster, Texas. It’s a three-day-long party with German food and fun activities for adults and children.

The North Texas Taco Festival is celebrating our area’s taco diversity. The taco festival will host more than 10 taquerías, restaurants and food trucks, serving some of Dallas-Fort Worth’s favorite tacos. Among the vendors offering classic and unique tacos are Cafeteria y Loncheria El Padrino, Rusty Taco, Rock and Roll Tacos, Velvet Taco, Revolver Taco Loung, and So-Cal Tacos.
