Dallas, time to get your Greek on. The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church presents the Greek Food Festival for the 58th year in a row. For those unfamiliar, the Greek Food Fest is about more than just food. Much more. It’s a celebration of all things Greek. Think dancing, art, a church tour and multiple cooking demonstrations. “Support Local Beer!” is a rallying cry heard far and wide round these parts. If you’re one of many who find themselves peering in from the outside looking for an opportunity to hop aboard the movement, this is your chance. Want to order a local beer at a bar and don’t know which suits you? This is your chance to explore the local brew scene and sample all of the beers DFW breweries have to offer!
Love music festivals but hate sweating through them in the summer heat? Lucky for us, summer is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean that the music stops there. The third annual Index Fest is finally upon us, and we’re really (really, truly) hoping that it won’t be 100 degrees at the end of September. That means cooler nights to enjoy the ninety-five bands that are hitting the stage in just three awesome-filled days.
Mercedes-Benz Evolution Tour Dallas Event with Mayer Hawthorne happens tonight, Thursday, September 4th at Southside Ballroom, starting at 8:00pm. Enter this easy contest for tickets. Did we mention it’s open bar?
