Preservation Texas Announced Heritage Park as one of Texas' Most Endangered Places for 2009

In the middle of North Texas existed this beautiful space for people to relax in the shade and listen to the water from the fountains. The Park, situated on the bluffs and overlooking the Trinity River, has been closed off since April 2007 due to its lack of maintenance and safety concerns.
