It is that time of year again! The holiday season is upon us, and with that, so is the 14th annual Lone Star Christmas at the Gaylord Texan. There you will find a winter wonderland that includes 2 million lights, 25’ tall toy soldiers, miniature train sets, a 54’ tall Christmas tree, and of course the ever popular ICE! exhibit on site. If you are unfamiliar with ICE!, you definitely need to bundle up and check it out in person. The exhibit houses snow tubing, ice skating, gingerbread decorating, photos with Santa, holiday escape room, Elf on the Shelf character breakfast, cookies with Mrs. Claus, and a Build-A-Bear scavenger hunt.
Be a part of Christmas on Greenville Avenue and give a gift to a child in need.
The Restaurant Association’s goal is to have 100 restaurants and retailers collect 10,000 toys in 20 days. From now until December 17th, 2009, bring a new and unwrapped toy to one of the participating locations. Toys will be collected on December 17th and delivered to the WFAA studio in Victory Park for a live event from 5-10pm.
