Girls Rock Dallas Summer Splash Party This Saturday at the F.O.E. Pool

If you're looking for a cool pool to survive the summer heat, then jump in Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the F.O.E. Pool, as Girls Rock Dallas hosts their Summer Splash Party, a party/concert to raise money and awareness for the rock camp for girls coming up at the end of July.

In addition to a great line up of live music (The Zeppos, Skating Polly, Static Mind, Faded Grace, DJ Mary), you can enjoy waterballoons, an air guitar contest, hamburgers and hot dogs, give aways, prizes and jello shots!

The party on 6/30 is to celebrate and bring together the campers, volunteers, supporters and anyone else that wants to have a great time. Waterballoons, jello shots, air guitar contest, and an awesome line up of bands - all going down at the FOE Pool (one of Dallas's best kept secrets). They're hoping to raise awareness and just get people out to have a great time! Grab the sun screen, blow up the beach ball and jump in the deep end for a good cause!

About Girls Rock Dallas
Girls Rock Dallas is a non-profit that puts on a summer rock camp for girls. The camp runs July 23rd-27th with a showcase of all the girl's bands at Club Dada on the 28th. Girls Rock Camp is happening in most of the major cities in the US - with a few international cities participating as well - Austin just finished their sixth year of rock camp this week! And Paris, France is kicking off their second year. This is Dallas's first year. They have a very dedicated and passionate group of local female musicians involved - and everything is coming together beautifully! It's going to rock!
