Texas Veggie Fair is a statewide celebration of plant-based living. It is a free event, open to the public. Vegans, Vegetarians, Omnivores and everything in between are welcome- see you there!  In 2017, over 12,000 people joined us to enjoy plant-based food, products, live music, speakers, activities, and education. Our goal is to promote kinder, healthier, more sustainable choices for animals, our bodies, and the planet.  Flamenco music and dance are riveting Spanish art forms that are the focus of a week long festival October 7-15, 2018, in the Oak Cliff and downtown area of Dallas. Spotlighting heart-pounding percussion, lightning fast footwork, and internationally renowned musicians, this festival celebrates a sophisticated and intense art form.

Cottonwood Art Festival is a semi-annual event that features works from the nation’s top visual artists. Located in scenic Cottonwood Park in Richardson, Texas, this prestigious art show has been a part of Richardson life for over forty years.

Cottonwood Art Festival is a juried show. This year approximately 1,400 artists submitted their work for consideration. For each show, jurors select over 240 artists to exhibit their museum-quality work. The artists compete in 14 categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital, Drawings/Pastels, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalwork, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Wood.

Celebrating 132 years of tradition in the fall, the State Fair of Texas will return for another season of food, festivities, and family fun. Themed “CELEBRATING TEXAS INNOVATION,” this year’s exposition kicks off on Friday, September 28 in historic Fair Park. Adding to its annual offering of more than 100 free attractions, 70 Midway rides, and endless activities across the fairgrounds, the State Fair is excited to announce several new attractions lined up for the 2018 event.

Welcome to the premier Oktoberfest in Dallas. This family friendly event brings thousands of people across Dallas – Fort Worth for the good food, good beer and good times. This year’s annual event, to be held September 29th at Flag Pole Hill, will feature some of the best local bands, fun for the kids, and delicious restaurant offerings from brats to ice cream to pizza and brews.

If you are looking for some smooth tunes to take you through your weekend then the Denton Blues Festival should be on your bucket list. Hosted in partnership with the Denton Black Chamber of Commerce and Classic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Denton, they are celebrating 20 years at this year’s festival. The 2018 lineup is sure to please, combined with kid friendly activities, arts and crafts, and delicious festival food!

This unique festival, designed to showcase the history and spirit of the west, invites attendees to find the cowboy in them through themed events, attractions, food, shopping and entertainment. Three festival stages feature national and regional live music and entertainment to flavor the air as festival-goers partake in the unique arts and crafts vendors, gunfight re-enactments, Native American singers and dancers, the World Tamale Eating Championship and car shows. Family fun continues with a multitude of children’s activities in the Kid Kountry area, face painting, strolling entertainers and the annual Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Cattle Drive Parade – featuring 20-30 head of Texas longhorns.
