The Grapevine film festival takes place in the heart of the cotton belt railroad district on downtown’s Main Street, which is lined with world class restaurants, galleries and shops. Grapevine is home to dozens of artiasans’ workshops, wineries and art studios. A film festival unlike any other, GVFF is dedicated to bringing filmmakers and their films to this beautiful city as a celebration of artistic spirit.
Richardson’s Cottonwood Art Festival Hosts 1,400 Juried Artists October 6th-7th
Cottonwood Art Festival is a semi-annual event that features works from the nation’s top visual artists. Located in scenic Cottonwood Park in Richardson, Texas, this prestigious art show has been a part of Richardson life for over forty years.
Cottonwood Art Festival is a juried show. This year approximately 1,400 artists submitted their work for consideration. For each show, jurors select over 240 artists to exhibit their museum-quality work. The artists compete in 14 categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital, Drawings/Pastels, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalwork, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Wood.

Gelato Festival Dallas Showcases World Class Flavors September 29th and 30th
Gelato Festival World Masters is the most important event dedicated to Artisan Italian Gelato. It is a challenge of Gelato Chefs that recognizes the greatest flavors through competition. During the course of the next three years, five thousand Gelato Chefs from all over the world, will be competing against one another for a chance to participate in the 2021 grand finals in Italy. Only the best 36 gelato chefs will remain to battle for the title of Gelato Festival World Master.

Western Days Festival Reminds Lewisville of History September 28th and 29th
