The Art of Dr. Seuss at Storyopolis Fine Art

Fooling Nobody 36 x 24"The Art of Dr. Seuss" is a National touring exhibition honoring the 100th Seussentennial celebration... and it's coming to Dallas! Storyopolis Fine Art and The 4th Wall Gallery invite you to discover the wildly imaginary work of Theodor Seuss Geisel.

The exhibit chronicles 70 years of artistic creations, including rare early works of poetry, advertising works, WWII editorial cartoons, magazine covers from the 1920's & 1930's, his collection of unorthodox taxidermy, the Secret Art, and never-before-seen works from Seuss's personal archives. What a treasure this will be!

The 4th Wall Gallery will also have limited edition prints of Dr. Seuss's work for sale! (Want to guess how much they will go for?)

The exhibit begins Fri. July 17, 2009 at 7:00pm and runs thru Sun. August 9, 2009.

  4. The "Art of Dr. Seuss" is a -fraud-.

The so-called "art," for sale and misrepresented as lithographs, serigraphs and edition sculptures, were posthumous forged with counterfeit signatures applied since 1997.

    Theodor Giesel died in 1991.

    The dead don't create art.

Additionally, these forgeries are promoted as "limited editions." Since under U.S. Copyright Law 101A a work of visual art to be considered limited must be "signed and numbered by the author."

Since Theodor Geisel was -dead- when these so-called "limited editions" were "signed," much less "numbered," is the public being asked to suspend disbelief or just believe when they purchase one at $225 to $9,000 or more each?

To learn more about the "Art of Dr. Seuss FRAUD," -Google- Gary Arseneau and Seuss to read his two posted online monographs detailing who, what, when and where it started.
