Linda Tarr-Whelan at The Women’s Museum

Having been Ambassador and US Representative to the UN Commission on the Status of Women under President Bill Clinton, and Deputy Assistant to President Jimmy Carter, there's good reason why this women was named "One of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Washington" by Ladies Home Journal.
You can meet Linda on September 17th at The Women's Museum for the launch of her new book. Tickets are $10 and price includes a box lunch.
Twestival Dallas for The Women’s Museum
[ September 12, 2009; 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ] Register Now for the Dallas Twestival, a global festival organized by local individuals to get people offline and bring people together for a cause. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds benefit The Women's Museum.
A Twestival or Twitter-Festival is a global series of events organized by volunteers around the world under short timescales via Twitter, which bring people offline for a great cause. Twestival is run 100% by volunteers and independently from any not-for-profit; although the organizing teams do work closely to outline an achievable and measurable fundraising target.
ARTFEST 2009 Fair Park, Dallas – Celebrating 40 Years of Art
[ May 22, 2009; 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. May 23, 2009; 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. May 24, 2009; 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. ] The 40th Annual ARTFEST will be held at Fair Park this weekend, May 22-24, 2009.
Tickets for ARTFEST 2009 are $5 in advance and are available at Tom Thumb stores. Tickets are $6 at the gate.
Saturday, May 23rd 10am – 7pm
Sunday, May 24th 10am – 6pm
A “WineStroll” Preview Party & Wine Tasting event is Friday from 6pm-9pm. Tickets for the Friday evening Winestroll are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate.
