The Amon Carter Museum presents today Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision, the first major retrospective in more than 25 years of the photographer’s work. This exhibition features nearly 200 photographs, from Crane’s internationally heralded early studies of human form through her chronicle of Chicago city life to her recent explorations of nature. The exhibition will be on view through May 10, 2009, before moving on to the organizer’s venue, the Chicago Cultural Center.

[ February 7, 2009; 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] In its 5th year, alley's house will be presenting its Annual Art Auction this Saturday, February 7th from 7-10pm. The Auction will be at the American Fine Art Gallery, 1611 Dragon Street, Dallas, TX 75207

Art works will be available for viewing one week prior to and following the event at American Fine Art Gallery or online at alleyshouse.org. Tickets may be purchased either at the door ($30) or online ($25).
