Strokes for a Cure Benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

strokes for a cureStrokes for a Cure is an event featuring two artists: a musician and a painter. Together they will originate a work of art for a worthy cause. Seth Simmons, pianist, will play his original compositions while Rolando Diaz, Cuban-American artist, paints an original oil on canvas. A silent auction for the painting will follow their performance. Strokes for a Cure is a benefit for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Check off your calendar for April 3rd (unless, of course, you have a prior engagement.) Tickets are a reasonable $25 online and $30 at the door. Proceeds support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Southside Theater is located at 1409 South Lamar, 75215. Doors open at 7/show begins at 8pm.

Eager to see the show? Watch the condensed version of a live performance of Euforia. The performance was at the American Airlines Center in Victory Plaza. It's pretty remarkable to watch. Do you think Diaz knows what he is going to paint before the performance begins?
