Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebrations at Galleria Dallas

For millions of guests each year, a trip to visit the Galleria Dallas and its iconic 95-foot Christmas tree is a treasured holiday tradition. The experience is made even richer when guests visit during Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebrations. Each free holiday show features Missile Toes, the Galleria’s ice-skating, back-flipping, pyrotechnic Santa Claus, live performances from Olympic, World and National ice skating champions, along with local children performing around the country’s tallest indoor Christmas tree. This year, Galleria Dallas will play host to an amazing array of national and international skating luminaries, including: 2014 Olympic Gold Medalist ice dancers Charlie White and Meryl Davis, 2012 U.S. National Champion pairs skaters Caydee Denney and John Coughlin, two-time U.S. National Champion figure skater Alissa Czisny, U.S. Bronze Medalist and U.S. World Team ice dancers Kim Navarro and Brent Bommentre, and 2011 U.S. Champion figure skater Ryan Bradley.

Guests can enjoy the complimentary Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration on Friday, November 27 at noon, and then on Saturdays November 28, December 5, 12 and 19 at 6 p.m. at Galleria Dallas. Following the Saturday, November 28 Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration, skating fans can meet Olympic Gold Medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White at an autograph session at Macy’s on Level 2 from 7-8 p.m.  The autograph session is free with any $25 purchase at Macy’s.
