  6. We live just outside of Dallas and we stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend in order to do a local's guide to Dallas tour. When we told our adult kids where we were staying they commented. "oh, that old place!" Well. this is a welcome step back in time. This 100+ year old hotel is full of beautiful reminders of a slower time in history.

  7. The Adolphus is an historic landmark for downtown Dallas. The rooms are well appointed, the staff friendly and it is convenient to shopping in the downtown area. I enjoyed the bar at The French Room and the room service was great.
