Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Features Melissa Meaow

Dr. Sketchy's Dallas will feature burlesque sensation Melissa Meaow in its Sunday, June 3, 2012 session from 4-7 p.m. at LaGrange in Deep Ellum.

Texas summers are super hot but that's nothing compared to this month's sizzling summer session with Melissa Meaow. She's a fan favorite and always a delight to draw. So cool off inside LaGrange with us as we celebrate the heat, Texas style with tunes provided by DJ Tigerbee and prizes from What Katy Did and Baby Tattoo.

About Dr. Sketchy's

Dr. Sketchy’s is like a Life Drawing class… but without the class.

Just show up at one of their monthly sessions with your paper, easel or drawing board or whatever and any dry medium of your choice (dry mediums are pencil—charcoal—pastels—watercolors are ok too etc.)

They supply the hottest, most fabulous, outrageously delicious burlesque superstars, roller derby babes, amazing contortionists, and other assorted local interesting muses for your drawing delight. As if the eye candy and sketching madness wasn’t enough, be prepared for a heavy dose of fun. Games and contests? Yes, there will be some. Prizes? Of course, many. Drinking and debauchery? You bet.

  1. Speechless.

  2. Schools can play very important role in the life of the people without the schools we cannot able to become successful in our life. The people should work hard in their schools buildings and in their development of the students.
