Dallas Fan Days has just announced the addition of David Tennant, the indomitable Tenth Doctor in the iconic series, who was voted by readers of Doctor Who Magazine as the “Best Doctor.”

Tennant’s run as the Doctor lasted five years and made an indelible impact on the series and its appeal – not only among longtime fans but converts as well. His final appearance as the Tenth Doctor for the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor was a landmark event in the series’ history that brought together the series’ past, present and future.

Andrew Moyes, vice president for Dallas Fan Days says, “In the tradition of giving our fans what they ask for, Mr. Tennant has been added to what is going to be a truly dynamic weekend. We recognize his commitment to his legions of Doctor Who fans and are thrilled to play host to this very rare appearance.”

The previously announced attendance of Matt Smith has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts.

Dallas Fan Days is packed with exciting family-friendly activities, celebrity and comic guests, and much more! The pop culture extravaganza is host to tens of thousands of fans at the Irving Convention Center for the three-day event this fall.
