Chefs For Farmers Promises to be “The Best Food Festival Dallas Has Ever Seen”

chefsforfarmers2If only based on the sheer amount of food festivals held in Dallas every single year, aiming to be “the best food festival Dallas has ever seen” is already a lofty goal. Expanded from a single-day festival in years past, Chefs For Farmers will be featuring three days of food, artisans, chefs, and culinary influencers from around the world. The collaboration between chefs and farmers is highlighted through a private dinner on Friday, meat and cocktail night on Saturday, and their big blowout culinary takeover of Lee Park on Sunday. Have no fear if it rains, as alternate locations are already in the works to keep everyone dry.chefsforfarmers1Friday’s event is a nine-course Guest Chef Dinner at FT33, featuring some incredible chefs such as Matt McCallister, Scott Crawford, and Justin Brunson. Sadly, this event is limited to 85 lucky guests, and sold out within a matter of days. Luckily for you, there are two more days of food and drink to indulge in, with plenty of tickets left.chefsforfarmers3On Saturday evening The Butcher Block Party will be really opening your eyes to the wonderful world of meat, world-class wines, classic cocktails, cold beer, and music at the Eye near the Joule in downtown. Participating chefs and bartenders include Andrew Wiseheart, Annie Pettry, Brian Zenner, Craig Deihl, Danyele McPherson, David Uygur, Jim Christiansen, John Tesar, Justin Brunson, Laurel Wimberg, Matt Bolus, Misti Norris, Richard Blankenship, Ryan Pera, Sarah Snow, and Steve McHugh. Event lasts from 7pm until 10pm with tickets coming in at 125 a person.photo1Imagine yourself within a picnic that includes a charcuterie lounge, a beer garden, a biscuit bar, a champagne and oyster area and you’ll be imagining yourself at the Culinary Village Main Event. Featuring over 120 chefs, this all-you-can-eat fest welcomes you and 2,500 of your closest friends at Lee Park. Starting at 2pm and ending at 6pm, this comes in at a steal of 75$ a person.
