CoHabitat, a Dallas coworking space for tech startups, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in Uptown, is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration this Friday that is sure to spark a new tradition in the Dallas tech scene.
Since Ignite's inception in 2006, the Seattle-bred event has been scheduled in over 100 cities around the world. Dallas made that list back in March 2010, with a second round on June 2nd. Feb. 23rd will mark the third evening of high energy and professional and personal insight. Seventeen different personalities will get on stage one after the other and share with the audience a piece of their lives and in just a very short period of time. 5-minutes to be exact!

The week of October 11th is Idea Week and it's chock full of events to get you thinking and collaborating with others about great ideas!
Idea Week's mission is to showcase the interesting and innovative conversations happening throughout Dallas. This grassroots movement is centered around the community and our ideas. Every day for 7 days there are at least 3 events scheduled. There's really something for everybody - kids, students, professionals, artists, entrepreneurs and thinkers. Thirty events are scheduled all over the city and over 22 of them are free to attend.
