Knife, the highly-anticipated modern steakhouse, by nationally acclaimed, James Beard-nominated and Bravo's "Top Chef" contestant Chef John Tesar exclusively for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, will open late-April in downtown Dallas on 5300 E. Mockingbird Lane. A reinvention of the steakhouse experience, Knife is Tesar's vision of what a contemporary steakhouse should be.
The artist studios are open year around by appointment, but once a year, they open on the same day, giving visitors a chance to really experience a creative, evolving neighborhood.
Meet the artists, see where they work and what they create. Search and find the perfect piece to take home with you. If you’ve never been to the Cedars, now is a great chance to learn about the neighborhood.
State of the Arts will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Museum’s Horchow Auditorium on four different evenings. Fall in Dallas means, among other things, that art lovers can get a head start on holiday shopping during the Bath House Cultural Center Art Mart, November 20 – 22, 2009. Art Mart has always been the place to find a special piece of art for yourself, family, and friends: paintings, sculpture, photography, pottery, ceramics, jewelry, cards and other unique creations.
