The 3rd annual BrewRiot and Homebrew competition takes place in the historic Bishop Arts District on May 22, from 4-8pm. Local homebrewers compete in the streets showcasing their craft brews alongside live music, games, and more. Several regional microbrewies will also be on hand sampling their wares and answering questions. Adding to the Brewriot this year is a Backyard Burger Throw-down competition, and a live performance by The King Bucks. Bring your IDs. Kids and pets are welcome.
As part of the yearlong celebration of the organization’s 30th year, the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture will hold an Open House to celebrate existing members and new friends. The evening’s program, which begins at 6:30 pm, will spotlight special guests and longtime Institute Fellows Judy and Patrick Kelly as they explore what’s available to theatre goers this summer, both in Dallas and elsewhere.

Wanderlust has teamed up with smartwater to celebrate healthy living and the culture of modern yoga with a series of events called Wanderlust Yoga In The City. This one-of-a-kind yoga inspired event will be making its way to AT&T Performing Arts Center Park on Wednesday, May 18th from 5-8pm. This free event will feature Dallas' top yoga teachers from American Power Yoga, Texas Yoga Association, Bikram Yoga and more.
